Sonadow: The End? Prt 2

Sonic was walking on the sidewalk, head down. He was happy, that he finally told Shadow his feelings, but the thing that made him sad was...

???: "Sonic, there you are!"

Sonic: "Oh, hi Amy."

Amy: "You don't look so good," she placed the back of her hand on Sonic's forehead. "Are you catching something?"

Sonic: "No Amy. I just...it's just that...never mind." Sonic walked away from Amy towards his house.

Sonic: "It's been over a year since we broke up. I don't know what's wrong. Shadow never...never talks to me anymore. Even one glance at me, he starts running away. Is he afraid of me?" Sonic was talking to himself at night.

He picked up his cell phone and dialed Shadow's number. But Shadow didn't pick up. Sonic tried this for over half-an-hour, but Shadow didn't pick up.

Sonic: "Maybe I should use the house phone, he won't know who's calling." Sonic exited his room and re-dialed Shadow's number on the home phone.

Shadow: "Hello?"

Sonic: "Sh-Shadow?"

Shadow: "I don't want to talk to you Faker."

Sonic: "WAIT!"

Shadow: "What!?"

Sonic: "C-Can we, talk for awhile?"

Shadow: "I never want to speak to you ever again, YOU HEAR FAKER!?"

Sonic: "YOU BETTER LISTEN!!!"

Shadow: "I HATE YOU!"

Sonic: "FUCK THIS!!" Sonic slammed the phone onto it's dock, hanging it up. "If he doesn't want to talk to me over the phone, I'll talk to him IN PERSON!" Sonic took out his Chaos Emerald. "CHAOS CONTROL!"

Shadow: "Dumb-ass FAKER!" Shadow snapped his cellphone shut and went to the bathroom.

????: "SHADOW!"

Shadow: 'What does that Faker want?'

Sonic: "COME OUT HERE! WE NEED TO TALK!"

Shadow: "About what!?" He slammed the door behind him as he exited the bathroom.

Sonic: "Why don't you ever talk to me anymore!"

Shadow: "I don't care about you!"

Sonic: "I still do!"

Shadow: "Then why'd you leave me!?"

Sonic: "I may not love you as a soul mate, but I still LOVE YOU AS A FRIEND!"

Shadow: "I don't believe you!"

Sonic: "You know what!?" Sonic started laughing a little. "I thought we could be friends after the event," Sonic closed his eyes. "BUT NO!" His eyes shot open and stared directly at Shadow's. "I can't believe how heartless you are..." Sonic was walking towards Shadow, Shadow walking backwards away. "I can't believe...that you can take one small thing so hard."

Shadow: "It wasn't small!"

Sonic: "IT WAS! What we do in a week privately, we could do in and hour publicly! Do you know what that means!?" Sonic sped up his pace. "It means that the longer we keep ourselves hidden, the more we spread apart." Shadow hit a wall. "What we did in those years privately, we could have done all of that in a month. If we only confessed to our friends," Sonic was standing just inches away from Shadow. "None of this would have happened..." He smacked Shadow across the face. "I hope you're happy." Sonic walked away from Shadow, exited the house, and left Shadow, all alone, again.
